Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Jeremy Hansen to Speak in Winnipeg

This week, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Jeremy Hansen will be in Winnipeg, Manitoba to meet with Canadian students. He will speak with them about his journey and what it takes to become an astronaut.

Where: The Manitoba Museum, 190 Rupert Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3B 0N2

Audience:
– 230 students (grade 6-12)
– Schools represented: St. Avila School, École Sacré-Coeur, Nelson McIntyre Collegiate, Victoria Albert School, RH Smith School
Time: 2:00 p.m. (CST)
Where: Woodlands Elementary School, 91 Porteous Avenue, Woodlands, MB ROC 3H0
Who: Jeremy Hansen, CSA Astronaut
Audience:
– 250 students (grade 5-9)
– Schools represented: Woodland Elementary School, Brant-Argyle Elementary School, Warren Elementary School, and Warren High School Special Guests: 3 students from Brant-Argyle School who sent their experiment on cancer to the International Space Station in January
