Dr. David Kendall to Speak on Canada's Future in Space – Building the Next Generation

Coming on the heels of the annual Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute (CASI) annual ASTRO meeting on Quebec City this week is the Toronto Branch annual dinner meeting and awards night. This years featured speaker is Dr. David Kendall who will speak on Canada’s Future in Space – Building the Next Generation.

Dr. David Kendall is Director General of the Space Science and Technology at the Canadian Space Agency. He is also a faculty member of the International Space University based in Strasbourg, France and a Canadian delegate to the European Space Agency (ESA) Council.

In addition, Dr. Kendall is a member of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and a Vice-President of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). He leads the Canadian delegation at the Science and Technology sub-committee of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPUOS), and is currently the Chair of the Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee (IADC).
